Kouki was going over a checklist in his mind. Mostly what to do, what not to do, what not to SAY to Nanami... not to make her uncomfortable, or try to force anything on her.
He was just getting to the point where normalcy and acceptance seemed within reach. And Nanami was someone he'd swore that he'd protect, whether shew was with Touma or not.
... But some part of him did want something more significant...
He growled, and tried to just focus on the moment. He was waiting for Nanami at the location they'd agreed to. It was more important to try being friends anyway.
