Lily had acted on impulse when everything started moving violently. She’d darted under her bed.
Shaking and whimpering, she’d clamped her eyes shut and covered her ears, wishing for the dreadful noise and shaking to stop.
She was vaguely aware of something tapping her head. Peering out from underneath her eyelids, she saw Kyokyo speaking to her frantically and trying to tug her out from under the bed.
But then suddenly, there was a blinding flash of light and Lily was forced to close her eyes again. When she opened them, Kyokyo was gone. There in his place, was an enormous bladed-tipped tail of some huge, scaly beast.
Horrified, Lily watched as a massive claw reached under the bed and tried to dig and pull her out. Curling herself up tighter to avoid the razor sharp talons, she summoned up her courage.
With tears pouring out her glowing blue eyes, she let out a yell and shot out from under the bed, charging past the gigantic beast that’d smashed the wall of her room to pieces just so it could fit. Not daring to look back, she bounded down the staircase three steps at a time.
Yu almost ran smack into Lily at the bottom of the stairs and only avoided it by grace of her agility and jumping skill. She shot directly into the air and bounced off the ceiling crashing back to the floor nearby. "Lily!" She sat up immediately ignoring the pain in her side.
"Whoa!" Was all Yu had time for springing to her feet and drawing a batarang out of seemingly nowhere. "Back off Pal or this is going in your eye!!!" She roared threateningly one hand seeking behind to make sure she knew where Lily was.
Yu braced herself for battle. She didn't have her tools with her so she'd have to realize what items she did have out of her D-reader which was fast...but not as fast as having her belt on hand.
Before she could make the first strike, her reckless bravery and combat training preparing her to defend Lily at all costs...the world exploded in a wave of orange.
Pumpmon stood looking confused in the doorway to the kitchen. The entire entranceway of the Inn was now coated in pumpkin from one of his special attacks as he took in the situation.
"I heard screaming." He explained looking at the massive Digimon on the stairs. "Oh, so you evolved too huh?" The older wiser Digimon commented mysteriously.
"Is everything OK in there?" Tiffany called from the kitchen where from the crashing and smashing sounds she, Sandy and presumably Sandy's partner were doing everything they could to save the items in the cupboards from falling out.
The Ouryumon growled low, shaking the pumpkin from his head. "Moron, look before you fire."
Lily blinked, the voice was gruff and deep, but oddly familiar. "K-Kyokyo?"
The massive dragon snorted. "'Course it's me. I evolved right infront of you, how could you miss it?"
The little girl shook, still terrified of hulking beast infront of her. Kyokyo seemed to take pity on her, turning his head away to look less intimidating (though it didn't do much) and grumbling. "You know, it's hard to protect you when you run off like that."
The child smiled a little and walked around Yu to give Kyokyo's huge head a hug, slowly at first, as if scared the spikey dragon might hurt her but soon she was calm again. "Sorry, Kyokyo."
Yu lightened up considerable at this turn of events, in fact she became excited, "Lily this is amazing! How'd you evolve him to ultimate level like that?"
Before further pondering could happen Pumpmon flailed his arms and was overcame by the same flash of light that had turned Kyokyo into his new form.
The furry pink face looked perplexed as he remained firmly wedged in the doorframe. This is very peculiar.
A scream from the kitchen followed by shouts of "HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!" Indicated that Sandy's partner probably evolved as well.
"Look while you're here..." The Digimon formerly known as Phascomon and Pumpmon sighed unable to extract himself from the door "Could you run upstairs and get Men and make sure no one else is up there? Tiffany set him down for a nap before all this got started."
Yu was off like a shot up the stairs to meet Lily halfway. "You bet!" She agreed for both of them stopping to let Lily come out of hiding.
When they'd finally get into the room they'd be greeted by the strange sight of not one, but two Sakuyamon sat on the bed.
The two Ultimate Digimon were on either side of Asanoha, watching intently as she held up Men into the air. The baby let out a noise of happiness and Asanoha sat him on her lap. When the infant whined and made grabby hands at her, she simply smiled and bounced him on her knee, causing him to giggle.
Turning her head, Asanoha greeted them all happily. "Hello everyone."
Yu's face brightened "Good Afternoon Miss Asanoha!" She had only spent a little bit of time with the older woman but she was respectful as her Mother and Auntie had taught her to be.
"We were sent to come up and make sure you and Men were safe!"
Before an answer can be given, a cry sounds, like a bird's shriek mixed with a young man's shout. It is one that, judging from how it's strained, appears to have been going on for some time.
"H-help-- Help--!"
It's call is from just outside, seemingly under one of Tetha's many trees that have been knocked over by the earthquake.

Half-pinned beneath the tree is Gaia's Hawkmon, Suzaku, only his left wing and part of his head sticking out.
"H-Help!"
