Kevin had been walking home when the disaster started. The ground beneath him had crumbled, trapping him and Gotsumon in the now exposed sewer. Kevin coughed, swimming through the sewage, trying to get to someplace solid...
... just as parts of the street above caved in on him. Kevin survived by copying the composition of some nearby rubble, but he was pinned down.
"Shit..." he grunted, spitting out water. There was no sign of Gotsumon, and he felt the ground rumbling. This was bad. Really, really bad.
"Lo?" A voice called echoing down into the cavern. Big Macintosh had been looking for Fluttershy when he saw Kevin vanish into the ground. Floramon was clinging to the collar he wore eyes wide with fear.
There was a pause as the duo scanned the area and then the would be rescuer called back "Eeenope!" He wasn't sure what a talking rock pile would do to help in this situation, but he was beginning to accept just about any weirdness.
While Floramon scurried ffrom side to side nervously trying to figure out a way to climb down, Big Macintosh took a deep breath, let it out and sprang into the pit, crashing down to the level below cracking the ground where he landed and bending at the knees to catch his weight.
"I'm not trapped under a rock." He answered simply.
"Interestin' life." Big Macintosh remarked surveying the pile.
Whimpering and trembling Floramon began to lower herself down from a vine she had created and had her eyes clamped shut when she finally reached them. Big Macintosh tapped her with a hoof, "We need a pole or somethin'."
Floramon's eyes opened startled and slipped from the vine standing up on shaky legs and scanning the area just as another rumble swept through the area.
Big Macintosh nodded calmly and trotted over with heavy hoofsteps while the floramon scrambled over and started tugging wildly. The red colored horse rose his front hoof and slammed it down hard on one of the rocks pinning down the pipe shattering the rock into pieces. His partner let out a yelp as she and the pipe went shooting across the floor bouncing and rolling away.
By the time the relaxed farmpony had returned to Kevin's side Floramon had already taken the pipe and found separation in the stones to drive it in.
"Hold still." Big Macintosh warned before gently planting his hooves on the pipe and beginning to push trying to raise the stones off of Kevin enough he could pull free.
Big Macintosh nodded and began to nudge, tug, and in some cases break away rocks and debris with his sizable strength assuming that Kevin meant his partner was probably still buried. Floramon joined in as best she could, but she was not a particularly strong mon.

"Are you alive?" She whimpered.

Kevin groaned. Even with his enhanced strength in this form, it was impossible to clear the rubble off him himself.

"Big Macintosh here is strong as a bullmon, if we can get down to you we should be able to help!"

Kevin sighed. "Sadly... not the strangest thing to have happen in my life..."

"How about that?" he said, indicating a long piece of broken pipe.

"Thanks..." Kevin breathed heavily. "... Now I need to find Gotsumon..."
