this past week has been pretty eventful...
last Friday i celebrated my birthday with a bunch of really great friends :) we headed down to mojos... and it was such a crazy night... oh my gosh... probably one of the BEST nights EVER at mojos :) PETE AND ADAM were there!!!! i couldn't even believe it... i ran into a bunch of people... i don't remember a lot of the night, but i do know that it was sooooo much fun :) :) :) :) it was a great birthday celebration. i'm such a lucky girl to have such fabulous friends!!!! :)
on Saturday... well i was hungover... i laid around the house and then had to get up to get ready for Ken and Steph's wedding. I curled my hair and put on my new AND CLEAN dress.... lol and we headed out to Howard City. The wedding was nice... we stayed for the reception and then headed out to Bud and Stanley's with the work crew for some karaoke and drinks. anne was all packed up and moved out at this point, so i said my gooodbyes and embraced the fact that i would be living by myself for the next 2 weeks... :(
on Sunday, Ken and Steph dropped off their cat for me to have while they are on their honeymoon. scooter is their cat's name and he is a really big trouble maker... for the first couple of nights he kept waking me up at 3:00 and 4:00 in the morning so i finally just started shutting my bedroom door... sorry cat. he gets into everything and climbs all over everything... but i love him just the same... he is just too darn cute :)
my birthday was Monday and i went to dinner with amber and jess which was really nice... then afterwards i saw Evan Almighty with amber... it was really cute.. then i met Patrice for ice cream!!! yum yum! then... when i came home i got the BEST present imaginable :) but we won't go there right now... :)
on Tuesday i cleaned the house (well most of it anyway) then Jim came over and we watched the Tiger's game together. it was nice. it's nights like that tho that i miss having a roomie or a hoomie here :( i miss my hoomie like, woah!!!
on Wednesday i didn't do much of anything... actually, i don't remember AT ALL what i did wednesday... ummm... who knows....
on Thursday... well i had a good day until i tried to pull on of my kids off of a fence he was climbing and twisted my back in an awkward fashion... it was the most immaculate pain i have ever experienced... so i drove myself to the emergency room all by myself (needless to say i was freaking out) and i was in and hour in under an hour... impressive huh? the doctor checked me out and decided that i sprained my back... who does that?!?!?!? honestly... so i'm on 72 hour bed rest and am not able to pick up anything over 15 pounds... lol. good news tho that i'm not in much pain anymore.
so today- Friday... i haven't done much of anything other than watched a bunch of movies... i ddin't go to work today... blah. it's gorgeous outside, but i have to stay inside and rest... patrice is coming over later on tonight to watch some movies, so that will be nice... shoot... i think the cat just knocked one of my picture frames down... i better go. ugh. goodbye.
