Back at the Wag
4 months and counting! I can't believe that I only have 4 months of school left. I just hope that it flies by. My classes started today, and I don't think it's going to be TOO difficult. I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays for right now -- but I have to add another class for a half unit because the registrar hates me. I was going to be doing an internship down at Snug Harbor, but the registrar wouldn't give me the credit that I would need. So . . . unfortunately . . . I had to decline my internship. But I think I am going to add a costume lab with Jim, which should be fun. The other classes I'm taking this year are: Human Bio, History of Musical Theatre, Playwrighting, and Directing 2. I'm still going to have a full work-load, but at least I won't have the stresses of writing a thesis or working on my showcase. I am SO glad that I got that out of the way!
On top of my classes, I'm also in "The Music Man" this semester which is going to be a BLAST! I am SO excited about the cast, and I can't WAIT to work with Norb again. I'm also working front of house for "The Dance Concert" and I will either be working on "Chess" or "Time of Your Life" as well. I also have a few auditions in the city that I am going to go to. I'm auditioning for Royal Carribean Cruise Lines on February 7th, and Norwegian Cruise Lines on February 9th. I'm also going to send out resumes and headshots to the "Hairspray" casting offices and the "RENT" offices. So we'll have to see what happens.
As for right now, I have got some homework to finish up. We are supposed to get a HUGE blizzard this weekend, so I had better get some supplies. I am going to try to do my best to update more frequently and keep in better contact with everyone. I hope things are going well with y'all. TTFN!
