We finally got some sun here, but the sun came with colder temperatures. And I just don't want to try and understand how that's logical. I'm going to have a system shock going from the 10s here to the HOT of Australia.
I'll send you some warmth, when I get there. :D
Also, caught the last ten minutes of Batman and Robin (with George Clooney and Chris O'Donnell) and I had a sudden urge to write some Mary/Dick story. I will resist, though, because I need to finish the latest chapter of CK. My muse has been annoyingly illusive the last few days.
Oh man, that will definitely be a body shock! Though a welcome one, I'll bet. Make sure you drink OJ and get lots of sleep to make sure you don't get sick (even though the last thing you'd want to do when you get to Australia is sleep!)
I want to see pictures from your semester abroad! It'll be an amazing experience.
Clooney! <3 Well, between you and me, I will not tell if you take time off CK to write it. :D You could think of it as a break - something to stimulate the muse before you dive back into the world of CK.
OJ and sleep, two of my favorite things. *fistpump*
I'm going to train myself to start taking more pictures. I hardly ever use my camera. I'll definitely have to post the pictures on LJ. If anything, the pictures of an Australian summer could be a reminder to everyone stuck in the northern hemisphere of what's coming soon. It'll give you hope. xD
Hmm...but what to write about with Mary and Dick? That is the question...
He's just so awesome. I love the dry remarks and his fondness for his guns, just like Jayne. I wouldn't be surprised if he named one of them Vera. The last episode was hysterical when he helped Morgan after realizing the other employees were "insurgents." xD
I understand how that is. Sometimes the muse just doesn't want to cooperate.
I've said before Casey is like Jayne without the space travel and smaller guns. I love this idea that disloyalty and disrespect for authority of any kind demands action from Casey.
That's a very good point. Casey is a lot like Jayne. His loyalty is also a good point of interest - you don't know exactly where Casey lies especially when it is choosing between Chuck and Sarah vs. the government. Whereas Jayne it's loyalty towards Mal vs. Money. xD I love his using his spy tactics to scare Lester, too. And him telling Morgan it's better he didn't know for plausible deniability. Casey is really a softie underneath.
Honestly? It wasn't as bad as I was expecting when I heard she was guest starring. She was in it minimally and her character wasn't perfect, as we learned when she confessed she'd been fired and her happiness was an act. But then again, she's in it more this week so...what I said just there could easily change. As long as the focus isn't on her character, it might be okay. We'll see.
I want to see a Casey centric episode - complete with flashbacks to little Casey running the neighborhood watch. the idea that even for a second he might have killed Chuck last season is part of what makes his character so interesting. And you're right - just like Jayne he has his own code
I just hope Lana doesn't secretly turn out to be a ring agent - that would be so cliche. I actually kept waiting fro her to reveal she was some kind of spy. I think I may be past my dislike of her simply because she's Lana - but I know better next week - it's just so hard to see KK as anyone else
Aw, that would be a cute idea. I'd like to see Casey's past. We know how Sarah got into the spy business, but not so much with Casey - even if he always wanted to be career military, I think it would be interesting to see why.
Very true. I have a hard time separating Lana and KK. That character is something she's really going to have to work to separate herself from.

Well, what do you have in mind? First thing that comes to the top of your head -
Their first date gone wrong by a hunt/villain/little brother?
Telling Dean?
Batman's talk with Dick about dating a hunter/Sullivan/Winchester?
Reply
So what do you want to talk about?

Hmm...no idea. I'm rewatching the season premiere of Chuck right now and fully loving my Adam Baldwin fix.
But I should tell you I've been working on that sequel to the JD gets a girlfriend story from forever ago.

I haven't written anything recently - just not in the mood

Castle on the other hand was pure predictable joy, and I adore how calmly his family reacts to finding him duct taped to a chair.

Haha. I love how they help him get tied up to the chair and then go shopping. :D The family dynamic is one of my favorite on that show.
