1. Once, Holly talked him into playing a drinking game at one of the fundraisers they had been dragged to. Every time someone said the word "beautiful" he had to take a drink. (She was still under 21 and was leaving on a hunt the next day so she wasn't drinking.) To this day, Connor swears that was the worst hangover of his life.

2. Every year at the Fourth of July BBQ, they would play football. Every year he would get elbowed in the gut by Holly at some point during the game. At least until the year he had his growth spurt and he could pick her up and throw her over his shoulder like it was nothing.

3. She'd seen him in tuxedos, tailored suits, and the latest fashions. But, she found him most attractive in jeans and a t-shirt. Because while the world knew Connor Queen, heir to Queen Enterprises, she knew Connor and didn't want to see the facade he played for the world.

4. At sixteen, though childish, Jonathan dared him to pull a prank on Holly. He had thought she had been at karate. So, when Connor went to climb in her window, he had been shocked to see her cleaning a gun on her bed, talking on the phone energetically to her friend. When she saw him, she hung up the phone and informed him that he was lucky she wasn't naked and her gun wasn't loaded.

5.An undercover mission went south and she needed to get out of there. Connor had been assigned to be her getaway driver. Racing through the streets on the back of a motorcycle, she felt a rush of adrenaline. They managed to lose the tail, arriving in an alley to make sure. Holly climbed off the bike, knees wobbly. She let out a laugh and leaned against the brick wall, glancing toward Connor. His eyes were bright and he also laughed. He just looked... She was a sucker for heroes.

As much as I like Andrew/Leila...I think these two might be my favorite of your Spawn Pairings. :D
