Today's been quiet, since it's a holiday, but I'm hoping the resumes I sent out Sunday will generate some interest and I can schedule a couple of interviews. Hopefully, I'll see some new job ads tomorrow morning.
My badge for New York Comic Con arrived in the mail a couple of weeks ago. I don't remember buying it in advance, but I vaguely recall setting aside some freelance money when I heard tickets were going on sale earlier this year. I downloaded the mobile app, but haven't gone through to see which panels I want to attend. I usually spend the bulk of my time in the exhibit hall, but I heard the cast of the Walking Dead is going to be there, so I want to plan for that one. I heard J2 might be in town for a Supernatural panel, but it wasn't from an official source. Also of note are Person of Interest and ARROW, which I was unable to see when I was in San Diego. I assume there will be a Game of Thrones panel. Clearly, I need to set aside some time with the app this evening.
So much network tv to watch, now that the season has started. Elementary is definitely staying on my watch list. I forgot to set the dvr for ARROW, but I hear they're repeating the pilot sometime this week. I'm one episode behind on Grimm, which I watch on nbc's web site because of a scheduling conflict. The same goes for Scandal and Modern Family. The former airs on Thursday along with every other show I watch (Project Runway, POI, and something else?). Add to that my drawing class on Thursday night, and suddenly it's the dvr/network web site olympics for 4 different networks to catch up. Or is it Glee vs. POI vs. Supernatural on Wednesday night? See? Confusing. I didn't even know 30Rock was back until I went to nbc.com to check out how far behind I was on Grimm.
More tv talk when I make more progress on this week's drawing assignment.
