For people not following me on twitter, I have a question. Have you ever used cafe press for making tshirts?
oracne has suggested I check out zazzle, and I'm happy to hear any other suggestions.
I submitted my first invoice for the freelance gig. Even if I don't get the check before quarterly taxes are due, I have enough money in my savings account to cover anything I owe. That's a big relief. There may or may not be some more work from this client before I leave the country, so I guess I should take another look at my schedule and figure out what else needs to get done before I leave.
I bought my plane ticket for Italy a few days ago, and I need to figure out my packing list. I ordered a new pair of walking sandals, since my other pair is about to give up the ghost. I also need to sign up for the global plan for the iphone for the time I'll be gone. Hmmmm, I need to make a list.
Not much else has been going on here, except the occasional foray in to photoshop and illustrator when I have time. I need to do some more work for the iPad game I'm creating with my friend j. I also have my eye on a couple of books on the iPad SDK. I have no programming ambitions, but if I can learn enough to create a prototype, I can put it on my resume. I've learned quite a bit about Adobe inDesign in the last few weeks, but primarily on how it works with XML. I'll need to figure out how to phrase that in the qualifications section of my resume. I'll try to schedule some time for the other tutorials in the book I have.
