so it begins
Choir results were posted last night... it looks as if Im doing something right.. Im in the 2 top choirs.. Choir and Madrigals.. so.. Im happy about that.. but also annoyed because i didnt want to do *that* much choir singing.. but oh well.. it will be an experience... I hope we tour somewhere fun.. and go overseas.. then it will be worth it.. haha!
Op Shop results go up on Wed., Opera Auditions for The Merry Widow are mid september sometime... I dont know what I'll do if im in 2 choirs, opera workshop and the Opera.. probably be exstatic..and then really worn out by the end of Feb., PLUS.. im doing my Lecture Recital in the spring.. so I need to come up with a top for that ASAP.. Some ideas as of late are analyze a bach cantata, russian vocal literature, or some compare/contrast.. or, if I can find a good song cycle.. do an analysis of that.
Im really excited to be getting back into this whole school/sing 24-7 thing.. but man is it overwhelming!
