greetings from Virginia!!!
I watched my sisters graduation today. It was outside on a grassy knoll and it was 70 degrees and sunny and there were flowers blooming everywhere and oh my holy lord was it beautiful. it was, however, long and boring as graduations tend to be. and as i somehow tend to do, my mind wandered. and all i could think about was that in less than a month, 3 weeks in fact, that would be me walking across a stage. davis will read my name, leal will shake my hand, and life as i know it will change. raise your hand if that freaks you out. we started high school with excitement and anticipation, gingerly treading on ground still too soft to be stable, to solid to have guardrails. four years later, we've decided thatg hall passes aren't nessecary and homework is optional. we worry less, if at all, what our peers think of us and strive for excellence not only in the things that make us popular, but the thinngs that make us who we are. We excel in photography, medicine, law, and the arts and we prepare ourselves, unlike the other 2005 graduates, not only for college, but for the world. And so it is that in three weeks we take our first steps into the world. I dont know about any of you...a little more secure, a little more ready. We step into the world with the feeling that we are prepared, the love of friends and family, and the knowledge that while these may not have been the best days of our lives, they're definatly close.Welcome to the world, guys; its all ours.
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE SHENANDOAH SENIOR CLASS OF 2005 AND in advance THE CORAL REEF SENIOR HIGH CLASS OF 2005!!!
