I loved that store! I only went twice, once in 89' and then again a few years later. But wow, what an impression it made on me that first time. :P

Fuck...those were the days. Pam Holland's rings. Hanging out with all the pierced studded jewels that worked there. It's so cookie-cutter now. Then on the Promenade...taking hour lunches with Erik at the pub drinking Guiness when I was down the street at Pyramid Music...wow.
Nancy really was a fucking visionary. I miss those days of innocence and creativity. You had to really work to make it happen. I don't miss all the drama and drugs.

oh i LOOOOVED nana's! i bought so many awesome things there- and i had to scrimp & save for every single one! i still have an awesome pair of earrings and a skirt i will never get rid of no matter that it's 30 sizes too small, LOL.
i probably bought stuff from you! :-)
