Wow.
So as of right now, my last entry has garnered 56 comments. OK granted, a handful of them are my own comments-to-comments and a couple of people posted more than one thing.
But still!
This is a record for me. I know other people's LJs get like hundreds of comments all the time but it's usually a lot quieter here in my little corner of the world. (Well, unless the tumor speaks up or I do some demented gnome-blogging.) This is definitely the first time I've reached more than one page of comments.
Apparently I hit a nerve. =)
I just had to mention it because it's SO COOL. I mean, I write primarily for myself, because I can't not write stuff and this is a great outlet for it. And I know there are some friends who read what I write pretty much all the time even if they don't comment. But it's always neat to know that your stuff has inspired someone to say something-- and this mass response is just an awesome feeling! There've been some great points made, some interesting offshoot discussions, new LJ friends made, and I have to say, having people you don't know tell you how much you rock is the kind of thing that really puts a shine on the day.
So thank you everyone for your comments and insights and praise! You guys are awesome.
