Today when I was driving home from my Political Science class (the test, btw, was positively dreadful and i probably failed hardcore), I thought about my life. Yes, all eighteen years. It's a lot to stomach. Whenever my sister and I used to drive around in her car when she first got her liscence, we'd play all these songs we liked and I'd always talk about "the soundtrack to the movie of my life." Just some songs she'd play struck me to have the same qualities I see in myself- my quirky, crazy, yet sometimes artistic, sensitive, and pensive side. So today when I was driving home, one of those songs came on, and I was like "Self, if you were to choose 20 songs to go on the soundtrack to the movie of your life, which would you choose?" And well.. I'm gonna type out the list now. (You're going to enjoy my randomness.)

"My Mom Laughs Like Fran Drescher and Other Trivial Facts of my Trivial Existance: The Movie" starring Danielle.

1. "Sweet Marie" -The Anniversary
2. "A Dozen Roses" -Braid
3. "Your Song" -Elton John
4. "Crush on Everyone" -One Line Drawing
5. "Sour Girl" -Stone Temple Pilots
6. "Lolita" -Mustard Plug
7. "The Luckiest" -Ben Folds
8. "Untitled" -Blink 182
9. "Hello Oskar" -Our Lady Peace
10. "Aeroplane" -Red Hot Chili Peppers
11. "When's the Last Time" -Clipse
12. "Excerpts from Various Notes..." -Cursive
13. "Hey Johnny Park!" -Foo Fighters
14. "Maggie May" -Rod Stewart
15. "(Keep Feeling) Fascination" -Human League
16. "The Seed 2.0" -The Roots ft. Cody Chesnutt
17. "Walking Away" -Craig David
18. "Jane Says" -Jane's Addiction
19. "Make Your Move" -Hieroglyphics ft. Goapele
20. "Hackensack" -Fountains of WAYNE (JERSEY PRIDE, BITCHES!)

Okay, so that's it, I think. Wow. There's some underground rap, some hip hop, some rock, some indie, some 80s new wave, some ska, some pop. I'm pretty damn eclectic if I do say so myself.

So yeah, let me know what songs would go on YOUR soundtracks. I think this stuff is pretty interesting.
