Kiti was getting a little edgy. She was having a good time, but she wasn't used to being this out of touch with her family and in the company of only her classmates for such a long stretch. She wanted to go home, catch an hour of TV, and check her e-mail. Then she'd be fine and ready to go again. Also she wanted a real shower, this was fun and all

It took a few minutes but Leo slowly raised his head and blinked a few times at Yu. The newest problem of his already messy and problemic life. Slowly a smiled inched acrossed his face and took the can of Fonta amzaed that she knew about his Love for the fruit soda.

"Thanks I really love them all, what can I say? addicted to the fruity fizzies. Want... to sit with me? oh... I just remembered... are you doing anything between the dates of August 1 through the 3rd? I know its awfuly short noticed...to plan anything really..."

The boy looked down at the canned drink and opened it. Leo watched the bubbles come from the small opening then receed back into the can as if it too wanted to hide from the heat. "my... mother and father are planing a birthday part for me... and asked if I wanted to invite my friends to the main house. So.. since we are.... d-d-d-dating... If you say no I fully understand"

'thats it Leo take the leap...you can do this! what is your mother going to do? lock Yu up in a room and ask her questions with pressing a sword to her neck and says if she lies off with her head?... No mother isn't that evil...BAD THOUGHTS! don't think like that and thus nothing to fear.'

Leo looked up at Yu for her answer.

"Sure that would be nice." Yu said sitting down next to Leo.

"My only plans for the summer anyway was too spend a few days at my aunt Manatsu's Inn in Yokohama and I can go over on any day I want, so I'll go after I get back from your place. Sound all right?" she was aware she wouldn't be spending that much time with Leo but didn't really care much.

"great! the tickets are pre-paid and stuff" Leo took a sipp of the soda and grinned.

"so..." Leo passed the soda between both of his hands as he talked. " what do you like... to do? sports? clubs? that sort of thing... or what do you do for fun?"

[yu_ling_tai]

"I love to act so I help out in a drama club and take voice lessons for singing and don't ask I won't sing its to embarrassing." Yu emphasized that she hated getting asked that.

"I get picked on by my older brother in his free time but I don't enjoy that. I'm not very good at any sports and my dad spoils me I don't need a part time job." she got money from dating older men too but didn't tell Leo that.

"aa I see." Leo nodded some and kept passing the drink between his hands and every once in a while took a sip. "What does your father do? He isn't Japanese or part at lest due to your last name." He kept his eyes shaded with his bangs never looking up only at the orange can that passed between both hands.

"Your right my dad is Chinese and my mom is Japanese they meet while he was docked in Yokohama back when he was still a fishermen recently widowed. My brother is my half brother. Now my dad works in the trade post company in good old Tokyo." Yu said with a smile.

"My mom and dad is basically a fairy tale that came true weird isn't it? You wouldn't think those exist anymore."

'don't say it... don't say anything Leo.'

Leo kept himself from crushing the can of Fonta in one of his hands when Yu talked about how her mother and father marraged seemed like a fairy tail. Slowly he glanced up and froced a smile, " Wow, that really must be a great feeling in the house then."

Once he finished saying that, Leo slowly stood and dusted himself off. "I think I have a little bit of jealousy towards your parents."

"Its nice for them and all but I hate it." Yu Ling looked down at her hands. "They are to observed in themselves or praising my brother for getting in to college and spoiling my little sister I get ignored quite a bit. I guess I get a little lonely."

'lonely? eh...?'

Skillfully Leo turned on the ball of his foot and held out a hand to Yu, "guess you and me do have that in common. I am an only child really, and how I was raised doesn't allow me many friends. In truth... I only had one person who I could say was my friend... but that was more like family. He was just as lonely as I am."

"but... Like I said I am not a very good boyfriend.. not sure what I am suppose to do and such. However..." For the frist time there was a real smile on his lips when he looked at Yu. It wasn't might, just something more natural about it. "I can try and beat back whatever loneliness you feel while your in my company."
