Holy gods, the body revolts.
Since the meeting on Tuesday I have:
- Moved most of the furniture in the basement;
- Coated myself in several decades’ worth of dust;
- Hauled everything out of the den and into the basement;
- Taken apart the antique brass bed, mahogany bureau, mahogany vanity, and hauled it all upstairs;
- Tangoed with a 25-year-old springless mattress;
- Assembled an office in a space that formerly held a bar, mandolin, random table, telephone table, and much dust;
- Discovered some really cool amber glassware that will move to Boston with me (assuming I can still go);
- Painted two walls in the bathroom;
- Made four trips to Target;
- Put my back out;
- Concluded that I am a one-woman moving company.
And tomorrow we begin faire season. Oof dah.
