im in the mood!!
yes that's right..the Christmas mood that is ;) Tonight it was just me and mom in the house so we put on the Christmas music and started going to town on the annual Christmas baking. We make peppermint bark,the original cookies,peppermint brownies(so good!) and some chocolate covered pretzels all while singing Christmas tunes,it was nice and I love my mommy :) I was pretty sick all day,due to some much needed unwinding time with 2 of my favorite people last night..ill get to that later..so the whole day I was kind of walking around with my head detached and stomach on the floor so to speak. Dance went well I suppose, as well as five hours of pointe can go, and then I went tanning.If I wasn't feeling bad enough,on my way home I had my first wreck!! I was totally caught off guard and really shaken up. It was pretty dumb actually,I was sitting at a stop sign on Danville on my way home, when the guy in front of me decides hes going to back up. So I see his reverse lights come on and I'm thinking what the HECK are you doing??! I blew my horn but it didn't seem to matter because the next thing I knew his bumper was rammed up under mine and I was frantically calling my mom. Damages wern't too bad and will be fixed in a few weeks so thank the Lord for that.
Anyways this weekend..ah this weekend;) Friday night,wow what do I say, I was SO proud of our student section and SO proud of our players! Not only did we win the girls game,but the boys game too. And it was nice to cheer again.The look on the Decatur kid's faces when that clock ran out and buzzer went off with the score of 78-68 and all of us bum-rushing the court was priceless. We might not be so hot at football but we know a thing or two when it comes to basketball! Speaking of basketball Mr. Tyler Hollaway was named player of the game Saturday night and I am so proud of him!! Hes such an amazing player all around and God has big plans for him in the future.
After the game me and some of the girls went over to John Davis' house and I got to see some dear friends that I dont hardly ever get to see.It was great fun. OHH but Saturday :) Saturday puts a smile on my face. I went and picked up m-m-melly ford at about 8 and headed over to Steak and Shake to pick up hot lanta. From there we drove out to one of Martin's friends house and hung out with those guys for a good while.Then we piled into my little race car and made a few more party stops before crashing over at lana's.Details really arn't necessary,but if you want to know ask..I'll take you back to crraazzzyyy tooowwwnnn with me;) My apologizes if you got a random call from me last night.....
But I'm going to get back to studying..the stress is slowly starting to escape me. Bj comes home Thursday,I'm so excited for that,hes my best friend and pretty much keeps me sane,and I just love him for that!
