OMG that was soooooo awesome!!!!! Joey persuaded me to help out with her at the mock disaster drill thing at the high school this morning. We were there by 7 and it went til after noon. IT WAS SOOOOO SWEEEET!
So Joey got guts all over her because her boyfriend got shot and his guts went all over her and he fell on her. lol thats her story, and another guy in our room was shot in the leg and another was deaf from the bomb. The room got all smoky cuz a guy brought in a smoke machine for a while. The fake blood was soooo sticky too! And the fake wounds looked really real. I just had to hide tho, there wasnt enough time for everyone to get make up.
It took forever for the rescue dudes to come! When they did, the dude made me put my hands up and lie flat on the floor. They frisked me (lol checked for weapons) and then moved on. That was just the dude seeing if the room was clear of weapons! Then a whole bunch of like SWAT guys came in with their big boots and helmets and guns (fake i think lol) that had lights on em and they checked the room and it was sooooo kool! One of em told me to go over and put pressure on Joey's wound, so I did and got blood all over my hands... IT WAS AWESOME!!! then another guy came and said everyone who could walk should go with him, so i went, we had to keep our hands on our heads. When we were outside, we went over to triage (where they ask if ur hurt and put u in groups depending on ur injury or if u have blood on u). They gave us triage tags and eventually we went across the street to get lunch and that was it lol. IT ROCKED! Thank u Joey for getting me to go!!!
It took a looooong time to get going tho. From 7 to around 10 we just kinda chilled. Sorry to anyone who Charlie called from my cell phone lol, we were bored and it was fun lol and he just kept on askin me. sry if we woke anybody up lol seriously sry. So it was fun, Lisa, Stephen, Charlie, and Joey were all there and the other guys I met were really nice too. FUNNNNNN!!!
