NEWSLETTER #4 (PLEASE READ)
So it's been a while since my last message to you guys. I'll admit, I've been relying on the bones of this in terms of input.
Long story made short: I've been really ill (this, the combination of different meds to fight off different things) and it just made it difficult to focus. Then I had problems with work, gr, boss, grrr and it was all too much and this just kept getting pushed to the bottom of an increasing pile.
NOW, UNDER THE CUT ARE THESE THINGS:

* MOST IMPORTANTLY, opportunities to get more free passes
Let's start at the beginning it's a very good place to start:

Now, aaaaaaaaages ago, I devised a poll to get some incentive together for the rounds. I realise that while we're still in this stage of 'OMG SO MANY ENTRIES', it can be hard to think of winning. It's really TOP 5 when it gets interesting.
So the poll results went like this-
It was twenty votes for immunity in the next round, nineteen votes for an extra pass and one vote for nothing (bah humbug).
Now when you look at that, the easiest thing to say would be that you receive immunity as the twenty votes dictate.
But then look at that, you have twenty people unhappy with that result. Well that's just as many. It's still not fair.
SO I HAVE COME UP WITH THIS:
IF YOU WIN A ROUND, YOU CAN CHOOSE YOUR PRIZE (out of the ones mentioned below)
WOOOO.
You have a week after the results are posted to decide and let me know.
CONDITIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
FREE PASSES:
* A free pass can be used whenever you want, you do not have to use it immediately.
* However, you cannot use a free pass once you get in the TOP 5
By this point, we want to really prove that we're choosing the best, most consistent and inventive writer.
IMMUNITY
* Immunity is for the round directly after your win. You cannot save it for later.
* You cannot use immunity once you get in the TOP 5
* You do have to write for the round, you just can't get voted off.
If you do not write for the round, you will be using a free pass.
CHOOSE A PROMPT
* This prize is to be used in the round after the current. I.E. There will the round you win, then the next round, and then the round after that is where your prize will be. (So you don't have to rush thinking of one.)
You cannot save it for any later than this.
* You will get to choose one of the three prompts. I will still choose the other two.
* You must contact me with the prompt in the allotted time.
(Contact me if you need help with any of these concepts; it's late and my explaining hat is slipping)

THERE WILL BE A BONUS ROUND SET UP AFTER NEXT ROUND'S (ROUND #5) VOTING HAS FINISHED

1) it gives people a round to take chances, have fun, play with ideas without the repercussion of being eliminated but with the incentive of still winning.
2) public feedback for all; you'll be posting in reply to the entry, so everyone can see your work and comment/critique/praise right then and there.
3) you'll be able to edit right up to the deadline; and people will be able to see your improvements.
4) OTHER THINGS.

HERE ARE SOME OPPORTUNITIES FOR GAINING ONE OR TWO:

These are what I need:

These can be themed: e.g. gold, silver and bronze, heavily decorated, basic, whatever.
BUT THEY MUST BE: 448x316 pixels, and they must be ensemble-based (i.e. THE WHOLE GLEE CLUB) just because you don't know whose going to win and their preferences, you know.
THEY MUST INCLUDE: 'FIRST PLACE/SECOND PLACE/THIRD PLACE (delete as appropriate) WINNER OF DIVA_OFF' OR 'DIVA_OFF BONUS ROUND WINNER'
YOU MUST BE ABLE TO ADD THE USERNAME WHEN IT IS ANNOUNCED (aka, you are binding yourself to this, haha.)
YOU WILL GAIN TWO EXTRA PASSES FOR COMPLETING THIS.

Now, I really don't want to make this into the kind of place where I have to take off passes for not voting. At the end of the day, I know what it's like to be so busy you can't do everything and I don't want this to be a place where people feel far too entitled to do things.
It's not fun.
BUT- AS INCENTIVE- I'm offering this:
If you pimp this on a comm, or on your own journal, you can earn extra passes.
