Entry Number Four: .... excuse the lack of wit

Jun 11, 2006 23:23

Anybody wants to ask me what is wrong? No, wait, that's not right.

I'm incurable, that's what's wrong.

My new house is full of lovely funk. No, really.

Hello again!
I am able to read it, yes...why did you think I would not be able to? It has been awhile. Sometimes time just flies by...doesn't it?

I won't ask, but I can't say I don't want to.

Oh- ah, no. I haven't. Been busy lately to work out any better details. Oh, but you like my ocean idea? Well I suppose I'll look into that then.... see if we can't have some fun.

Hello, hello!

I don't know why I thought you wouldn't be able to read my message. I am still pretty much inept with these journals. I've never bothered having one, and only succumbed to the shopkeeper's persuasion because I needed connection with fellow Englishmen.

You won't ask about what? You can ask away about most anything, I thought I've told you this before? Hmmmm... maybe I haven't.

Let's go to the ocean. You are not under the Registry rules, are you? I was thinking we could visit my Dad in Greece, if you'd like. But that's just my thoughts. Let me know what you think about them.

I try to check my journal every night if I'm not extremely busy, so I'll get any messages, sometimes late-- but I'll get them. I think the journals are an excellent way of communication, without tampering.... if you use the privacy charms well. I'm glad you succumbed; else we probably would have never shared missives ( ... )

Oooh! I think I like this journaling system more and more. Who created them, again? He or she must be given an award or something to that effect - even if they were created for the more militant purposes. Nevermind that - even the most lethal of weapons can be turned for greater good ( ... )

One does have to appreciate the way these things work. But do not forget that everyone can take advantage of these journals for their efficient means of communication ( ... )

Yes, yes, yes, and yes and yes. Wait, did that come out as if I was exasperated? I wasn't, really. This is what I don't like about the journals - you never know what was the tone of the person writing whatever you read. Better direct personal communication - but when you can't have that, journals will do, right ( ... )
