The dog
Our ancient dog seems to be more doddery than ever and smellier-poor old thing.Seems happy enough though. I took him in the field near our house for a walk today-its the first time, since he was attacked (unprovoked)by a horse about 18 months ago that he seemed happy to go in the field.This field was part of the reason we moved here. it is a public footpath and somebody (I can't find out who) starting keeping horses in it-nasty little bullying horses-one of them just ran at max (the dog) bit him and kicked him-poor old Max (who is 17!!) was terrified.Anyway no horses for the winter so we can walk in the field again.The footpath goes past the front of our house and then into the field -its a far as he can go these days so I'm glad he's happy to do our little walk again.
