ahhh....and 2005 hits. i had to work yesterday and today...not good. haha. went to claires last night with karen, then to the pub, then to kat's house where people were totally 'paraplegic'(he he) and throwing up. good stuff. like always, news years was a massive anti-climax, but a fun one!! im trying to think of a really good new years resolution...i dont think ive ever made one before so this one must be good. ah, it will come to me in a wonderous moment of enlightenment. bah. anyways my new years wasnt quite as memorable as..hmmm...lets say...jessicas? :)
anyways, christmas was hilarious. uncle colin, mum, jessica, tom (he joined us for awhile. i miss him
:( )and i basically laughed the night away at my grandma. now, for anyone whos met her youll know that shes quite a classy lady. and she got totally drunk, im talking cant walk cant really say anything. jesus, it was hilarious. at one point she actually rolled off the couch onto all the presents, and refused to move in her own special drunken way.
in the way of presents i got very cool things, most excitingly money to buy a cd player (much needed) and 70 pounds worth of book gift vouchers. mum jessica and i went to london on thursday, had an awesome time, and i went to a massive book shop there and bought 10 books. it totally made my day. first one to read: a suitable boy by vikram seth. meant to be awesomely amazingly good. read the da vinci code, which was really good, read like a movie basically. but i enjoyed it more for what you learnt in it, it was fascinating stuff. and jessica bought me four books which i really wanted and she didnt even know it! woo.
i cant wait to see surbhi!! but if anyone talks to her...PPLLEEEAASSSEEE get her flight details, because i wrote them on the back of my mums work rota sheet which she sent to her workplace unknowing of the valuable information scribbled on the back. *another moment of idiocy by hannah* go me.
really really really missing girls at the moment. going to the boys school rocks, it such a good time and the guys have an awesome sense of humour that girls just dont seem to have, like its really different than girls' sense of humour..hmmm...i know what i mean? . its wierd. and it allows me to change my crushes weekly in order to avoid attachment, just the way i like it. and ive become really close to tom, missing him alot whilst hes off snowboarding *jealousy :)* but i miss talking to girls, and moaning and talking about girly problems and things that are totally insignificant and annoyingly comforting to console as they seem so trivial (but only if you arent involved :), and getting totally excited about stupid things and overreacting in the way that only girls can, i miss dancing around and cuddling. miss talking to shafteen and writing in the fuckers book. which i have somewhere...hiding in my room. i love you shafteen. :) summary: girls rock.
this is SUCH a good song.
enough for now. love you all. happy new year!
