Good Day. Good Day.
So, I am in a REALLY good mood today. I woke up earlier than I have all week. Even though 11 AM isn't early for most people, I am very proud of the fact that I was able to do so. Seeings how I didn't go to sleep until well after 6 AM. Anywho, I got up, got dressed, and headed over to Tesla's house. She had some errands to run and asked me if I would tag alond to keep her company. And, seeings how I have nothing better to do, I had no problem accepting her offer...
Matt was supposed to get online around 1:30 PM ((that would be 3:30 AM his time)) to chat with me a little bit before he went to work. Well, I got to Tesla's at 1 and was on her computer waiting for him until 2. He never signed on, so I wrote him a quick message letting him know my plans for the day and signed off. So, me and Tesla head out. And she wants to go to Ross first because she wants to get a few pairs of jeans. After that, we go to PetsMart and she bought my cats some cat food. I thought that was really sweet of her, and I know my cats appreciated it as well. Then we headed to Home Depot because she had to get cement paint because she is painting the cement on her back porch to match the bar area that they have out there. Well, while we're in Home Depot I get a text message from this weird number. It was only 4 digits and it was asking me to type in a confrimation code for AOL. I figured it was a mistake on AOL's part and just ignored it. Maybe 10 seconds later, I get another text message from an AIM user. Caliboy17: "You know I love you, right?" I assumed that it was Matt, but I wasn't sure because, well, Matt isn't from California. But then I remembered that Matt lived in California for a short period of time. So, I text back: "Matt?..." Caliboy17: "No just a stalker that wants to talk to you." Anyways, long story short, it was Matt and he downloaded AIM on the computer in the REC room on base just to talk to me before he went to work. That put a smile on my face. Along with everything that me and him talked about. We talked for almost 2 hours. That's the longest I've talked to him since he left. But, we said goodbye and he went to work...
So, then I'm sitting outside keeping Tesla company while she's painting her porch. ((I offered to help but she insisted that I just sit and talk with her and that she would do it all)). Well, she had taken her wedding rings off to paint, just incase she got paint on them or something happened...So, she finishes the porch and Joe ((her husband)) comes home from work and we're all sitting in the living room talking. Then Tesla remembers that she doesn't have her rings on and she goes upstairs to get them. About 2 minutes later, she comes down and asks me if I remember where she put them. We spent about 2 hours looking for her rings before we gave up and decided to go to Taco Bell to get dinner for everyone. We come back, eat, and start looking again. The whole time we're looking Joe is complaining about how careless she is and she probably did something stupid like threw them away. And Tesla's saying "No, no, no. I'm not that stupid. They have to be somewhere around here." So, we look and look and look...no luck. So Joe gets mad and goes out on the back porch. Me and Tesla are inside sitting on the couch talking about things and I remember that I wanted to use Joe's tire gage to check the pressure in my tires. So, Tesla goes outside to ask Joe for it and all I hear is her laughing... hysterically. She turns around and says, "Guess where Joey found my rings...Come here." So, I go outside and he found ONE of the rings in the trash can. Now, mind you, this trash can was DISGUSTING. It had baby diapers in it, cigarrette butts in it, and all sorts of junk... So, Joe looks at Tesla and says "you can find the other one." and steps back. So, I go inside and grab another bag for Tesla and she starts picking through the disgusting garbage looking for her other ring. She finally finds it and we're all laughing because... Joe was right all along. Joe's sitting there with this "I told you so" look on his face, me and Tesla are gagging from the smell but laughing at her stupidity all at the same time. So, we go inside and for the rest of the night Joe's bragging about how he was right.
Then, I left around 10 to come home. When I got home, I came inside with the cat food bag. I swear, the cats KNEW. They started meowing like crazy and jumping all over the place. As soon as I poured the food in their bowls, they were face first. They had to have sat there for at least 20 minutes just gorging themselves. I have never seen them look more happy and content then they are right now.
Not to mention, me and Matt are getting paid tomorrow! I finally get to go grocery shopping! And Matt should be buying a phone this weekend so that I can finally talk to him on the phone. It's been almost 2 weeks since I have!
Nothing too great happened today, but I am in a fantastic mood. Probably the best mood that I have been in since Matt left. I think that I'm getting over the seperation anxiety. Yeah, it still sucks. But, I have another six months of it. So, I'm going to have to suck it up eventually. I had my 2 week pity party. Now it's time for me to get off my butt and get stuff done and do something!
