Blessing in disguise...
I'm glad I didnt make "Annie". I was told I have "way too many conflicts" and it's so true. I really shouldnt have tried out in the first place, but it's good audition experience. Sleeping Beauty AND Annie woulda killed me. It was tough enuff jumping back and forth for Grease. I'm so happy that Ashely got Annie, and Matt got a lead too! I couldnt think of anyone better. It's gonna be a great show!
We got our scenes yesterday, and I'm quite content with what I got. Brittany and I are doing "lettice and lovage", which is a british sophisticated comedy. I mean sophisticated because I didnt understand a few words in dialouge. It's about a tour guide obsessed with medevial history, and her boss who form an unusual friendship. It's quite entertaining.
We have an extended improv in drama tommorow, and we're supposed to be a female character from any kind of literature. This should be SO easy, but it's not. Any good ideas? If so, comment, "wont you please, please help me".
