I lobe the cinema but ££ puts me off. Paying £20+ (often more than that as we'll be in town or IMAX) plus another £10 in snacks to have to see people's phone lights/teens giggling etc. puts me off. I'd put up with it if it was £6-8 and £5-6 for snacks but the outlay is too much when we could go out for a meal with that £35, yanno?

The last time I have been to the cinema was to see 'Blood Rain' (a Chinese movie I think) with elethiomel as part of the BFI film festival, erm..., 7, maybe 8 years ago?
I've noticed prices have gone up loads, but I'd like to go once in a while. Speking of restaurants have you been to the Gay Hussar in Greek Street?

If I had a cineworld near me I'd go all the time as they're the only cinema who offer monthy subs but the nearest is Wandsworth in a location shitty to get to via public transport for us. :-/

No, I know I just meant I think she may have eaten there (it rings a bell with Paul saying she had recommended the place to him) but I could be off base as I believe there is also a Dutch place nearby and could be confusing myself completely, iyswim?
