It was quite odd that day. For one thing, Yuriko almost forgot that she had a new diet already for more than a century. It had been at least 30 hours since she drank fresh blood yet it seemed like her stomach was still full of it, which was really weird since she loved blood above everything, addicted even. And as if it wasn't enough, her work was a complete failure that day. Nothing seemed to work and for the first time the new young superviser voiced his disappointment after all those shower of compliments and flirts ( ... )

As the owner, it was usual to have eyes on him, from the ones who had expectation of getting free drinks to women who flirted endlessly and blatantly at him. He liked the attention, he always welcomed them. Other than it's part of his job but also the fact that Tokyo women were far more better than Kyoto's.

And the living proof was right here, standing not so far from him.

Lifting his eyebrows, he mouthed a silent 'Hi love.' If she took a seat beside him, he would be more than excited than he was right now.

Heard the growling from beside him, Satoshi turned his attention back to the kid, just in time he slammed the money. Well, he could use this kid as an effective reminder of his cut back from the way he crushed the cigarette pack, his last cigarette pack. He held up his right hand, "relax there hon- kiddo." calling the kid honey wasn't the best option, he looked like he was ready to behead him anytime. Well kiddo wasn't any good either but at least he could rely on his quick hand in case anything happened.

"I'm not here to bite you off. Just do whatever you have to do in the first place. But you know, it's kind of rude of not giving name to a person whose cellphone you destroyed." he pointed at the martini, "it was meant for you."

While he seemed to be in a good mood, she didn't. But since Satoshi finally noticed her before she saw the empty stool right beside him, Yuriko returned his silent greeting with a smirk and made her way to him, her eyes never left him. Oh he was an attractive man, definitely; tall, maybe slightly playboy, and lastly the delicious liquid that ran through his vein - which she hadn't tasted yet unfortunately.

Well, if it wasn't for the fact than he was an enemy, Yuriko wouldn't have been attracted to him. He had resisted her too much, he yearned to end her life. Wasn't that interesting enough? She licked her lips impatiently as her eyes lingered on his neck.

"Hello," calmly she said once the man was in front of her. "Miss me?"

If only she wasn't centuries older than him, he would sweep off her feet here and then. The game they played clearly wasn't enough to do that. Her blood lust and his duty sense were a big hole that required a giant leap to cross. But she's one of the kind, always kept him on his toes and yet at the same time he could relax around her. And their sparring, oh how much he loved the adrenalin.

He was dancing with fire and wasn't having any intention to escape.

After giving a no-harm-sign to the kid, he circled his left hand around her waist and purposely baring his neck, in disguise of act looking up at her. Laughing softly at her words, he replied back, "everyday. How's your day?"

How clever Satoshi was. His neck was deliciously tempting but Yuriko had known better that he was challenging her and she wasn’t going to lose in this game. Oh boy, he was a good playmate. A brow raised, she leaned forward, her lips only a few centimeters from his ear. “I’ve been better,” she giggled as she leaned back, quickly releasing herself from his arm and claimed the stool beside him at last. It was a good thing that her hunger was still under control. But then, she wouldn’t mind claiming what was freely offered to her.

“So, aren’t you going to let me a drink anything…” she trailed off, her eyes seeking for another guy - the same guy Satoshi was conversing with before her - and smiled sweetly at him.

He wasn’t an enemy, she decided.

[ooc: Err, should we join the two threads or something?]

He didn't deny the shiver that ran through his body at her honey voice. If only he could wake up to that seductive tune every morning. Tightening his grip slightly before letting her escape from his grasp, he turned around and offered his glass. "Fancy martini on ice or..." he leaned to her, nose almost touching, "perhaps anything that I would gladly offer to you if you graced my apartment tonight." He pulled back with a grin.

Jealousy almost came over him when her beautiful eyes landed on the other. Satoshi hadn't know yet whether he's a vampire or a dhampir. But whatever he was, Satoshi didn't fancy her attention was divided. "He's almost a friend of mine for I haven't manage to catch his name."

Yuriko realized the kind of effect she had on Satoshi, well the kind of effect she gave to men in general. But it was quite different with Satoshi; he was…an enemy to say the least, an enemy who she would keep alive for as long as possible to entertain. “Give me something strong,” she licked her lips. “Anything?” she laughed, “Would you, really? Are you sure that it is safe to invite me?”

Once again, she concentrated on the other man. He was too…intriguing. There’s something about his scent reminded her of something, but what? What was he? Her legs moved on its own accord as she left her stool and reached the space between Satoshi and the other guy. “I like you, “she declared, offering a hand to him. “Yuriko is the name.”

Her smile did not fade at the rejection but Yuriko withdrew her hand slowly. She seeked his eyes only to find agony - or so she thought at it only lasted for a millisecond. He was odd, she decided, running her eyes from head to toes. His skin was pale, not as much as hers though, and as she tried to read his expression she got nothing.

It was annoying.

Yuriko ignored his gesture, for a moment she forgot Satoshi's presence. It was more interesting to break the wall and see what was inside, maybe her discovery would satisfy her curiousity. He might refused to acknowledge her, but she was a hell stubborn woman.

"I still like you nonetheless," she exclaimed, smirking. Turning to Satoshi, she grabbed his glass and raised it. "What will you have for me then?"

There were two things that Satoshi hated to lose: his life and his woman. Technically she wasn't even the close one, but more than enough to sit on his number one priority. He frowned at their exchange. Other than the way she played blatantly at the other but also at the way the kid responded to her. He seemed lost. That wasn't the kind of reaction he hoped if the kid was a vampire. Or was he?

Inwardly clicking in disapproval at the kid's hand made its way to Yuriko, he circled her waist once again and drew her so gently so that it didn't look like he's possessive or something. He did not. Smiling at her, he opened his mouth, "anything other than what runs in my vein."

He turned to the other, "are you sure you want her to like me more? She's good with her hands you know...especially for the dead ones."

And he was supposed to worry about his predicament. Without a stake. Among two, or rather one vampire and one supposed vampire.

Yuriko gasped, her mind momentarily went blank. There was it, her instinct kicked in, she felt a strong desire to ripped off the odd guy's neck and drained the life out of him, slowly savouring the salty taste his blood would provide. Or maybe she could choose the brutal way, introducing him to a whole new torturous pain. Yet, she did none of them; it wasn't her nature to do so. She was frozen in place, completely obvious of the strong arm that snaked its way around her slender waist ( ... )

Feeling her went rigid in his arms and her choice of alcohol only made the question mark in his head grew bigger. Perhaps there's some history between these two. One Satoshi secretly hoped didn't involve any secret love affair. But who was he to judge? Both of them clearly had lived longer than he was. Moment like this probably wasn't even precious enough for them to remember.

Slightly squeezed his grip on her waist, just to remind her that he's here, he sighed. "The same feeling when I lost my last cigarette pack." Giving the kid a stern look this time, he calmly said, "at least save this lady some of her pride by giving your name."
