I am hopeless at LJ!
I really am hopeless at this whole LJ experience.... it's been 2 months since I last updated!
Well... we had a good Christmas & an ace New Years, we had a few people at our place for drinks & a party which turned out to be a really great night.
Since then it's been back to work & learning my new job! I have been promoted to pre-construction for the building company I work for and am really enjoying it so far!
We have the Mornington Cup (local horse race) on the 21/02 & our work gives us the arvo off work... which is great! Usually we have a marquee but they've gone a bit tight this year again! So we're going out for lunch & drinks... all paid for by the company so can't complain.
A friend from Scotland is over & staying with her sister in Melbourne at the moment, we hope to have her down soon for a visit. It will be great to catch up with her! We also have friends of friends coming over to stay with us for a few nights in April. They are coming over from London & will be travelling around Oz & a bit of Asia too.
Other than that Tam is slowly getting better, somedays it feel like one step forward two steps back. But I am just trying to be as supportive as I can.
I think that's about it for my general update.
I will try to be a more dedicated LJ person starting from now!
