I couldn't pass up this theme without attempting it.  It was like fate.

Great day. I used to read that snuggle puppy book to my nephew all the time.

So your highchair doesnt have a tray? What kind is it?

It does have a tray, we've just taken it off and shoved Ben as close to the table as possible.
It's this one: http://www.amazon.com/Graco-3C00CHY-Classic-Wood-Highchair/dp/B003KG9ZZC/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=baby-products&qid=1284379196&sr=8-5

But you can see that there's a wooden support from the tray that runs between the baby's legs. Ben is too long for that and we can't stuff him into the chair with the tray attached. We also took off the padded seat cushion because I got very tired of washing it.

You weren't lying, that is a lot of science going on.
The reading photo is adorable.

What's sort-of funny is that Thursday was actually a 'light' day for me, because I was helping to train the rotation student. Still, having my hands free made it easier to take photos of what usually happens!

Ben loves books. He reads them to us all the time. I love to hear his made up words for each page :)

Owen only really makes up words when "reading" to himself. When we are reading together he repeats back what he has memorized from a page or book- like "shhh" on The Monster at the End of This Book or "swishy swashy" in Going on a Bear Hunt. Reading books sometimes turns in to him finding animals he knows and him making the sounds. I am SO glad that they are finally at an age to enjoy books for more than chewing.
