I have a major problem. Every single time I enter a bookstore I feel compelled to buy something. I don't feel right leaving Borders or Barnes and Noble without at least one book. As a result, my book case is rapidly filling up and there's no space to get another one. I'm going to have to start keeping my books in drawers (though I already have all my DVD cases in the bottom drawer of my dresser so soon I'll run out of space for my clothes).
Today my mom was going to Borders to pick up a book for my aunt and I couldn't pass up going. I bought three books: Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë (I can't believe in my 20 years on this planet I've never read it), Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway (I'm embarrassed to say I've never read any Hemingway. This is going to be fixed ASAP), and Lord of the Rings by Tolkien (all three books in one volume because it was cheaper and will save space). I've already read Lord of the Rings before (twice actually), but both times I borrowed my mom's battered copies from the 60s. I like having my own copies of things for that impressive library I'm going to have when I grow up.
