Why do you cry?
Do you know your dada's off to war,
Waiting to die?

Why wont you sleep?
Can you hear your mama down the stairs,
As she sadly weeps?
Baby Child Baby child,
Why do you moan?
Mama'll smile when wars over,
And dada dear comes home.
