Oh, hi.
I haven't been here for awhile. Yes, I know you wouldn't know that from my postings, because I don't post very often. You might not even immediately know it from my comments, because they're sporadic, too, that's for a different reason. I often have more comments to make than I actually post, but since I am sometimes reading posts not quite as "in the moment" as they've been written, the comments from others may have already adequately expressed what I was thinking, and I decide against doing a "me, too" response.
Actually, this time, I just haven't been here at all for awhile. I could blame it on my busy life, and that would be partly true. I think most of it has to do with having a smartphone. With a smartphone, it is easier for me to read and participate on Facebook, and even there I'm sporadic. But I've mostly managed to keep up with reading LiveJournal during my BART commute, or at lunch time -- mostly, that is, until I downloaded an app to my phone.
Kindle for Android. I can carry my books around in my pocket, and read anywhere I go.
And so now I read everywhere I go.
I didn't think I was missing that much, since it seemed the number of postings in LiveJournal had been steadily decreasing, but wow ... you guys have been posting more than I thought.
Guess I have MORE reading to do now.
