Home from Leather Traditions weekend,and I'm tired -- really, really tired. Physically, mentally, emotionally, and even perhaps spiritually tired -- but in a good way.
Lots and lots to process. Guy Baldwin's eloquent keynote on Friday night. Excellent workshops by Daddy Sal and boyjean, Allie, Patrick and Guy, and Race Bannon. A 'talking circle' of anonymous questions - some of them quite intense. Fantastic sharing during "Conversations with Guy" - including his reading to us, and then giving context for, a paragraph from Slavecraft, both of which blew us all away. A panel with Trudy, Mario, and Justin, which brought us all to tears. David Forbes' wonderful homily on many of the words that echoed through the weekend, especially authenticity, community, trust, and faith, hope and love.
If I get to the point where I can express what I'm feeling and thinking, I may try to capture them here. For now, though, I have a lot of emotion and many thoughts I'm not quite ready to try to put into words.
