Friday, July 17th, Walter Cronkite died. Monday, July 20th, is the 40th anniversary of the first lunar landing, and Neil Armstrong's walk on the moon.
Walter Cronkite will always be linked to my memories of that event. As we waited for Neil Armstrong to descend from Eagle, the first images were actually broadcast upside down, and I recall Cronkite chuckling about all of America standing on its head.
