Children and Values and Afterlifes, oh my!
We'll start with the idea of an Afterlife. Of course I believe in it, Silly. Hades is so cute with his Original Goth and "I rule the Dead, sucka!" And even if you don't want to buy that, Think of alllll the other Underworld Deities... Nyx, and Thanatos, and Hypnos, and their whole branch... The AfterliFe isn't just real, sweetheart, it's a whole big branch of the Family Tree.
Now... to the harder idea of Kids and Values.
I'll be the first to admit I'll never win Mother of the Year. I've more children then I can easily name, right now... most of them, I never saw. Even those I am acquainted with, some needed to be fostered off for safety reasons, like Harmonia... Not everyone could be the apple of my eye like Cupie was. But, for the most part, (save Priapus... he's so weird...)They've seemed to manage to come out of things pretty well balanced. So I think if there was one value I could focus on, it'd have to be independence. It's a tough world out there, sugar, god or no... though, admittedly, my immortal offspring will never have the hair care issues the mortals children had, poor things. But if you've a good sense of Independence, you can handle anything.
