2 new topics will make for a nice update opportunity.

independent study marketing:
so i've had this course to do since around october of 1st semester. i did some of it in january, thinking that it was so much simpler than it actually is. the book is broken into objectives, which are broken into sections. i did a few of the sections during a boring saturday or something, thinking they were objectives. i thought i had a quarter of the class done. i sat down to finish things up the other day, and realized that i was about one twentieth of the way there. but after yesterday and today, i have finished 2 out of 9 tests. if i do one a day, i'll be done by this time next week. but needless to say, the stress has risen a couple of points.

job switch:
i know there's hardly a day that goes by when i don't say something about UPS, but this is worth listening to/reading if you're relatively interested. working your butt off pays in the end. when i was first hired, i was asked a few things about what i thought i could be most suited for. i mentioned computers, but i didn't think it'd ever come of anything. so for the past 6 months, i've been going everywhere around the hub doing whatever job they needed done. though i make decent money, i was doing more than they paid me for. but this week is when it proved to be worth it. mentioning computers and working hard landed me a position at a computer, correcting wrong addresses and screwed up barcodes. granted, i'll have to start going to the Y alittle more often to keep in shape, but getting paid the same amount to stand a computer is something to be satisfied with.

i wish, at times, that i had more to discuss on here. but life seems to be going at a nice pace right now, so i won't complain.
