Oh, no worries! It was a bit of a shock, tough it only lasted less that a minute. Today I went to search out the job help office. I didn't go in, but at least now I know where it is and I can find it easy as soon as I'm ready to start job hunting. ^_^
I totally understand. Even someone like me who's experienced lots of quakes gets freaked out when one does happen! O_O
The latest ones were around a month ago, I think. Intensity 3 or something. Lasted 30-40 seconds.
The biggest quake I experienced was almost 15 years ago, intensity 7.8.
But I'm sure you have nothing to worry about, most buildings in Japan are designed to withstand quakes. Something about incorporating springs in the post foundations, or something. So the structure sways with the movement. ^^; Sorry engineer in me got carried away. XD
Oh...I remember those. *shudders at the memory* Flung me off the chair once, but then again I must have been about six or seven-ish. But they used to really scare the hell out of me because our apartment was on the 15th floor. ^^; Hope it wasn't a bad one.
Oh no! Chibi Laily getting flung from her chair is not good!
It was only a brief and minor one, thank goodness. I think I would be a bit leary of living/working in a multi-storied building, though. And then what happens if you happen to be undergound riding the subway? *__*
