it's "TEH ta-RIK" not "TEE TAH-rik"

wuhhhh impervious bitch.
i really hate it when people behind the counter try to impose that fake american pronounciation to things non-american. and!!! they have the guts to give you that half-patronizing, half-smug look that says :"this is how you say it right"

hija, i'm sorreeehhh ha, pero
a>ang fake ng cool-dude-american-accent mo, at
b>kahit pa authentic yan, americans aren't always right. it's really "TEH taRIK". you can go to sg or malaysia, listen to them say it.
there's a reason why they export culture-based coffee/tea shops from its native country. it's something like sharing the culture. and americanizing it, when we're not even americans to begin with, just ruins the entire thing.

wait wait wait. these anti-american sentiments aren't directed to american people/things/whatever. hindi ako mapagpanggap, i like western stuf :)) i'm just like any other liberalized/ pop-culture-ized filipino teenager (save for being more culturally sensitive/appreciative). i just don't like it when people start imitating all things american- bec it's cool and in, and think it's soooo culturally (among everything else) superior.

as for life...

the freakshow unfolds ... i wonder what part i'm playing this time (if i must be part of it at all)

less than 50 hours to gooooooooo
