I recently discovered what that means. Which made me feel horrible that I didn't know already. Apparently, the very name I go by is directly from my Irish heritage. "Casey", from the O'Casey who are now spread throughout Ireland. I always knew I was half German, part Welsh (though that quarter is more a mix of assorted Brit) but never have I actively realized that I'm a quarter Irish. Maybe I was confused by the Newfie heritage I knew about, never looked a step further back to the O'Caseys that got to Newfoundland from Ireland. Maybe I'm disappointing protege. I think I make up for it by being an avid Guinness drinker. Scotch, hmmmm I guess that's scottish and I have no idea if I have any of that in me (no I don't want any you perverts!). Anyhow. I now freely recognize my Irish heritage, so I say Pog mo thoin.
