P.s I hate gift wrapping... and this is why.

...somewhere, in a tiny corner of my soul, a gay man lies weeping.

There are some people in this world who were born to wrap presents beautifully, creatively, with grace and panache. I am not one of them. I'm good with my hands, usually. I make crafts of all kinds, including paper crafts. I am no stranger to scissors and tape. And yet, somehow, even the simplest rectangular box defeats my attempts to swathe it in a tidy wrapping of pretty paper. It bulges. It rips. It slides, and shuffles, and laughs at me. (I can hear it even now, laughing.) The tape sticks in the wrong places. A piece of paper that, by the goddess, was the right size two minutes ago is suddenly too small. I think whoever invented gift bags was thinking of me at the time, yet I won't buy them. I persevere, hoping every year that practice will serve where dexterity has failed me. Hoping that some holiday, at last, I will emerge from my lair with well-wrapped gifts.

Apparently, this is not yet that year.

Wow... I osunded smart. Hhaha.
