That was probably the most interesting 4 AM walk home I have ever experienced.
I'm listening to my iPod, wearing Katy's hoodie.
It starts raining while I am in Pulte, but I haven't noticed. Once I do, I stop. I pause my iPod, remove the hood, and take in the rain.
Some lady opens her door and asks, "Excuse me, what are you doing?"
"Um... I'm walking home, standing in the rain?"
"Right next to our car?"
"I was not aware I could not stand in the street, would you like me to move over to that car? (as I point to the car directly in front of hers)"
"Yes."
"Nevermind, I'll just walk."
(She stands there, until I am several houses away.)
This has completely ruined my walk home in the rain (which I enjoy, btw).
Then, after I have crossed into Continente, I notice over my music, the sound of car engine. I once again cease my iPod listening and survey the situation. This time, there are two active squad cars with their respective drivers standing across the street staring at me.
This makes me slightly uncomfortable.
They do not follow or question me (to my amazement), so I continue walking.
I finally reach my development, and low and behold... two more squad cars. This time, they are facing opposite directions, with the drivers speaking to eachother from inside their vehicles. I don't even remove my headphones this time.
Again, no pursuit, and I live to tell my tale.
