It was a nice day - not too hot, not too cold. The smell of fall was in the air, and the brisk walk between districts had Ino's head spinning faintly. The fresh air was nice, of course. It might sound odd to say being cooped up with flowers could get stuffy, but somehow, it could. Held between her thin fingers was a little white paper bag, and with every other step she took, a blunt jingling sound could be heard. The blonde's pocket book was thrown carelessly over her shoulder, and nothing in her demeanor hinted that she might be afraid or wary.
She was jumping the border into Ceno. There were no criminals to worry about. She was the only criminal in the vicinity.
The Yamanaka paused, took a deep breath, then crossed over into the Blue District. There were no guards currently on duty... in fact, the difference between districts wasn't exactly noticeable. Not until she traveled further down, and began to notice such familiar things as the little parks strewn here and there, or how well-kept the buildings were.
Ah, such familiarity. She soaked it in as she headed towards her destination: a discreet little apartment building about halfway into the heart of the Blue District. Getting there was easy, and by the time Ino had stepped up to knock on the door of the apartment Ukon had rented out, she was grinning wildly. Who would have thought she could get such an adrenaline rush with so little ease?
Knock, knock, knock. Ino took a step back, examining her polished nails as she waited for her sickly friend to open up.
