So I've updated once a day since the 2nd of August (ok, so thats three days, don't get all excited) and I thought I'd keep it up! I've been trawling through my files on my laptop, because it's been literally months since I actually got to read anything on here, and the only things of interest that I actually have on this bloody computer are my fanfics, and various short story bits and pieces. Whats happened to my life? Why in the world do I have nothing of interest on my laptop?

Although I did uncover this, and if anyone can tell me what sort of fanfic I was writing this for I'd be very glad!

Her wicked eyes travelled down the length of his coat, she hadn’t seen his face yet, but judging from the dark hair and the broad shoulders and the beautiful way the slightly tailored coat feel from those shoulders down to the ground she could tell he was her type. So when he turned around and she saw that his face was closed, a face that has seen and done things he wouldn’t talk about with anyone, especially not his lover, she knew she’d struck lucky. The one thing she couldn’t afford was to tell him what she was, or what she was doing. She turned to the barman to order a drink to help her work out how she was going to approach him. She wasn’t entirely sure how the Barcardi and coke was going to help her to figure it out, but it would sure buy her time until,

"I’ll get that, and a double vodka and lemonade for me please." Came a smooth voice over her shoulder. Damn, so much for approaching him. She tossed her long red hair over her shoulder and looked at the guy who’d just bought her a drink, ‘oh,’ she thought, ‘Not him. Very much not him.’

"I hate to, er, break this up but I’m not in the habit of letting guys buy me drinks." She said, trying to get rid of him without being entirely rude.

"But I’m sure you’ll make an exception this time, right Honey?" He smirked back. ‘Ergh,’ she thought to herself, ‘ why do I always get the slimy blonde ones?’ It wasn’t that she disliked blonde guys, it was just that she preferred her men, tall dark and slime-less.

I also found all of my buffyverse1000 fics, which I had a lot of fun reading, and I found some random snippets of stuff that I'd written, like the fic entitled "You're Only Supposed To Blow The Bloody Doors Off" which only managed to get to one page, and what is there is pretty dire! Oh and I found a round robin which jslayeruk, anyasbuttmonkey, kashmanik and myself wrote. Which was also rather intruiging.

Other than that, today I spent doing chores - I went to Sainsbury's with my father and we got lots of lovely rubbish to eat, I loaded the dishwasher (Hoorah!) and I contemplated doing some hoovering. I didn't get around to it because the internet worked it's wicked ways on me and I found myself glued back into my chair. I also played Combat Chess, where everytime one of your pawns gets taken it turns into green jelly. Not unlike what happens when there is random magic about in a Terry Pratchett novel, although I'd guarantee if the chess set had been designed by Terry Pratchett it'd probably have a lot more fun things about it than just green jelly.

Ok I'm rambling, which would suggest it's time for bed. So away to bed I shall saunter. Or maybe I'll just walk, I don't think I've mastered sauntering. I might hurt myself!
