Something more frivolous me thinks!

And the subject is, things you see on the TV. OK. Not Quite. Mainly since it includes things you see in the cinema. However, they all make it to TV eventually.

This was set off by my first viewing of the trailer for the newest release, or rather, upcoming release in the Fast & Furious franchise. Stepping back from the Tokyo Drift scene, we drift back to America, and we join the guys from the first film, including Michelle Rodriguez who has, since the first film, got a bit more famous, and therefore appears to be getting a bit more air time. And about time too, since she's awesome and deserves better than 'token girl' status, which is basically what she gets in all the films I see which have her in - I haven't seen Lost, so I couldn't say if she was token girl in that. Anyway, she is awesome and gets to climb on a car bonnet. So that's brilliant. Actually the whole film looks like a trip back to the first one, and I really loved seeing Vin Diesel and Paul Walker going up against each other in cars. Also? Fast Cars.

Other films. The Dark Knight. I have now watched it twice since I got it (Dec 25th...) and it is wonderous. There are very few films that I really honestly feel I could watch half a dozen nights in a row and not be utterly despiring by the sixth night of watching. However, I think I could watch The Dark Knight every night for a fortnight, and still not get bored with it. And I'd still wince when the poor Murcielago ends up smushed because of that blackmailing squealer. Lucky Number Slevin. I still haven't actually watched this since I got it for Christmas, but that is because my Dad suggested that he might be interested in watching it with me, so I've hung fire on that front. I may watch it over the weekend. However, I know I'm going to love it, since I've already seen it at least six times. I find is amazing that I'm not bored with it yet, and am still enamoured enough with it that I wanted it on my wishlist, and that I would've been willing to spend money on it eventually.

And finally, I challenge you my friends. What movies have you seen just recently that you've wanted to see again? What movies have you seen that you really really want to see again? And on the other hand, what movies would you hate to ever see again?

reviewing, movies, can you tell i'm bored yet?
