*sigh* That crisis.
I was going to post this last week, but I was of the opinion that one battering does not a crisis make, especially after a couple of good games. However. *cries* Maye Arsenal are having something of a minor crisis. Possibly a Gallas inspired crisis. Maybe he's still working for Chelsea! (Just kidding!)
Quick write up of the Arsenal needs - We need some good solid leadership. Gallas doesn't do that anymore obviously, but then I'm not sure that Almunia is the man either. Maybe someone solid in the back. On the other hand - we have mush in the back. Mush with gaping holes. I always enjoyed watching Arsenal play football. Even when they were losing - they play elegant watchable football. They play a game that even when they're losing they look smooth and in control. The last couple of months... Sloppy. Slippery and wobbly. Arsenal are JELLY at the moment. We need changes. And while I LOVE Arsene Wenger, and I adore everything he's done for the club maybe it is time we had some new thinking in the manager arena. Maybe not a new manager, but maybe... just maybe someone in an advisory capacity that can bring some new ideas, because we sure as hell aren't getting anywhere with the old ideas. Can we have some change please?
