Currently stealing internet from my hotel. In the sense that I couldn't be bothered to ask the proprietor if she minded me using it, but since their website says that it's free, I should imagine they can't complain about little old me taking up a tiny amount of thier broadband wireless to update my lj.
Anyway I got here around quarter to two. Spend almost an hour dithering in my room because I was knackered before getting bored and running off to the Fashion Museum, which is lovely and I may do a write up about later. I can't be bothered at the moment, because typing is making my back hurt! Anyway. The hotel is comfy, as is the bed, and the only things that suffered from the journey were my back and my jacket. That is, the jacket in my suitcase got a little crushed. Fortunately it shouldn't be too noticable, but I'm hoping that I can take it into the shower with me tonight and steam some of the creases out!
I'm going out in a short while (around half six/seven) to see if I can find some dinner, and also so that I can join the Bizarre Bath tour at 8. I'm hoping that it'll be a good tour, but it might just as easily be a dud. They've been running for several (=17, more than several methinks...) years though, and they seem popular! So I'm quite looking forward to it. - Dammit it's chucking it down and my jeans are SOAKED, I couldn't stand outside for 90 minutes like this so I came back to the hotel Then it'll be back here for a shower and Friday Night with Jonathan Ross!
Impressions and photos of Bath, the Fashion museum, and the Roman Baths to come, and obviously what I thought of the tour. It looks like it's about to rain, which is a pity, but I'll take my umbrella and hopefully I won't get too wet!
