Time to catch up on meme-ing, Aditu_az and Keith_hood, I'm expecting responses from you!

Also, I realised I owe you guys an update. So here we go.

Things that have happened, I made a Christmas Cake which is now sitting in a tin waiting for feeding time next week, and will no doubt be very tasty. Absurd Person Singular rehearsals are going OK. Considering. I'm gradually acquiring all of the props - I now have a script... finally - and I've helped with the poster design... In Word. I'm not a design snob or anything, but using word to design a poster that you need to be eye catching and not blend into the background with all the other amateur drama and amateur music posters just strikes me as aiming a bit low. My version of the poster is, not to put too fine a point on it, really rather boring. It's all text, and it's not very eyecatching. Anyway, if that is what Michael (the director) and the management committee are happy with it then I can't complain!

Other than that, we're firing on all cylinders to get Saturday's Quiz underway, including the raffle, and the bingo (lots of things going on obviously!) and the prizes for those things. It sometimes seems to me that we're just going along assuming someone else will organise everything, but that might be my tidy mind rebelling against the idea that we don't need lists for everything!

I don't think anything else has happened, Daddy is still doing rather well, he's getting fat though, and complaining about it, which bugs me because he complains about being fat, and then goes searching for things to snack on. And he whinges (and yes I do mean that wholeheartedly) when I try and interest him in healthier types of snacks. It's getting quite bad on the food front, everytime I do the sainsbury's shop I feel like an extremely bad mother. Which is stupid. Something else that is stupid is the fact that I'm getting sick of people asking me how my father is, sometimes instead of asking me how I am. Given, I appreciate that people care about what's going on in my life and have kept up with recent events, but it'd be nice to be the first thing people think of about me, rather than my father. Ok, now I'm whinging. *stops* Meme time!

If you don't already know how to do this, the instructions run thus - Comment in this post and I will choose seven (or so) of your interests I would like you to explain more clearly in your journal.
I did this on aditu_az's journal, and had to explain these six.
Cyncism - It's listed as an interest because I think that these things should reflect your personality, and according to several people I can be a very cynical young lady.

Drawing - I draw. I'm not brilliant at it, but if I have time on my hands, I draw, especially things like flowers and I occasionally attempt a famous person I have a picture of. I also attempt to design clothes.

High Heels - Somewhat a weakness of mine. I think I have fifteen different pairs of shoes (not including my two pairs of Converse allstars) and most of them have heels. I love them, and I find they give me confidence and lift!

Lava lamps - I own a lava lamp, and I adore the things, I'd fill my house with the damn things if I could, but my father would think me odd, and they're rather expensive. I have a classic red and purple small one which I love because it's a little dusty and it looks like it has stars stuck to it. I want a glittery one though!

Metaphysics - (this sounds very school assembly...but) The definition of metaphysics is; The branch of philosophy that examines the nature of reality, including the relationship between mind and matter, substance and attribute, fact and value. And this is something I am very very interested in. So much so, that the degree that I may end up doing with the Open University is Psychology and Philosophy.

Scrabble - Because it is a brilliant game, it's SO much fun, and it's very good for my vocabulary. And I can occasionally manage to beat my Dad!
