And it was fun. More later. First that recent obsession of mine - Oh yes I shall continue to update on the tennis. Mwah ha ha ha!
So to business - Only one person I care about played today. Andy Roddick played today. He's great. He forgave Rusedski without a moments thought. Yay Him. Ok back to the him winning his game today, He won. Duh! Straight sets: 7-6 (7-5), 6-4, 6-4. The first took him into a tie-break situation - how shocking! But he beat the other guy. I don't actually know who the other guy was but neither do I really care. Also In the tennis, Tim, our last hope due to the fact that all the british tennis players but him are out (both male and female), is playing tomorrow. On the centre court at 1pm. watch him do his usual struggle and give your-self a dodgy manicure whilst he wobbles into the next round. Only kidding I'm sure he'll be great. Maybe. Good luck Tim, we're all rooting for you. Sometimes.
OK enough of my non-committal to Tim Henman's Wimbledon bid, I shall wander on to what happened at the Home and Gardens Fair.
Well it was fun. There was booze - always a good way to get me interested. And there were many home decorating ideas and many holiday brochures to collect.
On a side note, Me and my friend Dana have a bit of an obsession with these things, but we don't mind, its better than say an obsession with something illegal!
Ok so we were having fun wandering around the show - noticing the very cool looking chairs, casing all the possible weapons chests (none of them, and I mean none, would have stood up to the test of an axe hitting them. Not good for a weapons chest...). We also were looking at the really nice floaty dresses and the very sweet cushion covers. Getting lots of ideas for my future home anyway. Then we noticed there was a sign for Holidays and a Food area. Food? Holidays? We're there!
So we travelled along the holiday section collecting brochures and freebies, lots of bags - one place gave us a ton of brochures, a pencil and a box of matches, random much? - and a lovely drink from a company which chartered exotic holidays to the Bahamas or something. Not entirely sure what was in that drink but it was tasty and alcoholic.
Having finished that we wended our way along towards the food and found a MARTINI stand. Thats right. And the guy on the Martini stand was extremely cute. Also he was giving out free samples of Martini so I was happy! Hmmmm. We also noticed a stall selling (and allowing tastes of) some lovely stuff called Tuaca, which whilst very tasty was also 35%. Only had a little of that though. They weren't as generous with that as they were with the Martini. Oh well. I bought a 50ml bottle of that home with me. Ok so I'm rambling, but we had lots of fun.
There is no 'other news' today. I am content with what I have written above. Plus my fingers are complaining about the amount of typing I've forced them to do since we got back. Oh thats a point...I've written another chapter of my Harry Potter Fanfic, it won't be up for ages because I don't have a beta reader but...I can manage.
Oh....I got trout.
Enough of my craziness...I'm gonna go get smashed and try and con someone into being a beta reader. Wonder if I can manage to do those two things together?
