Finally...

It's been two months since my last update on here. I guess that is what comes with growing up. Not worrying about Livejournal. Haha.

In the last two months..

- I got promoted to Property Manager at Public Storage in Allen Park. I should be getting the apartment in a couple weeks. Jeremy is moving in and my little buddy, Montauk will live there too. Except I call him Dave Grohl too. Jess calls him Little Bear.. How weak, he's about to be a king!

- I got my Les Paul! 2007 Gibson Les Paul Classic Goldtop. Jenny Hornok made that happen! Now I just need to pay it off in complete.

- Alkaline Trio and Bayside were better than I could have imagined. Grand Rapids is always amazing, at least whenever I've been there. Too bad strippers there don't get topless, fucking ordnances.

- I have had jury duty for two weeks. I've barely been able to work. Now the City-County building is shut down when we're supposed to be deliberating today. So, I guess I'll go down there next Monday like the clerk said and see what's up. Both job's paychecks are going to suck.

- The band barely has a pulse right now. We're about to announce some heavy stuff soon. The recording has been going great, but who knows what will become of it.

Most of it is hapening because everyone is taking further steps from this band. Three months ago we all talked about what we wanted to do, but apparently what we talked about was false. So we're going to be going through a transition that a lot of people have been expecting and it will put us into a better position.

Another reason, we play the same place with the same bands every month it feels like. That is what happens when nobody ever seems like they want to tour, want to play shows or want to book other stuff. When I'm the only person taking the initiative to get things done. Right now I'm saying fuck it until what happens happens. Then when we come back, I'll get that spark back.

Other than all of that, I've been happy. I've been figuring out who and what's worth keeping around. It feels good. For real.

I'm doing some growing up and cleaning up.
