I would assume, as an artist, that attention to detail and a good focus were key. Do you disagree?

Maybe they're key for most people. I don't really think of art in terms of detail. I just go with it until it looks and feels right.

As for focus... yeah. It mostly comes in waves of either intense concentration or extreme laziness. Most of the time it's not the first.

Not really. It depends on the artist I guess. I mean, I can be really meticulous about certain peices but I still don't really think of it as detail. I'm not sure if that made any sense.
