(no subject)
so i, uh. may have started writing guardiola/hierro. ahem. if anyone has pictures, please spam me! i have a few (i have five. exactly five. i want more!) but i can never get enough of hierro and his ears and his goofy smile and those uniforms they had back in the day with the floppy shirts andandand.
in a week i will have my license. i hope. cross your fingers for me on wednesday!
i've used the lj freak-out to rewatch band of brothers, which has been wonderful. i've finished the first four episodes, and after i finish watching this miniseries, i will complete the hbo war trifecta by watching the pacific and gen kill. i love, guys, i love so much.
I FEEL LIKE I NEED TO TALK ABOUT PRESEASON! my thoughts mostly boil down to: varane was a great signing and everyone who was all "why would we sign an 18 year old???" can suck it, this kid is good. coentrao impressed in the game against la but was underwhelming against chivas (although he fits right in with the "madrid: club of wacky hairstyles" thing we've got going on right now), and we still have nobody who can step up in xabi's stead. we have way too many injuries already, seeing our canteranos play has been great, i love adan. karim benzema has been on fire (despite being cockblocked by the chivas gk) and is set to have a true breakout season (which i predicted, not to toot my own horn or anything XD) and i am so proud of him :) my french bbs, him and varane!
not talking about psg and the state of our transfers. we've signed a lot of players and there's promise there (thank you, leonardo, thank you for finally signing players) and if we can get pastore, that'll be great for us and i can be content. so. chelsea, back the fuck off.
i go back to school in three weeks. ahh how is that so soon!
still reading sherlock fic like crazy. (possibly planning a ridiculous au, but that's another story.) if anyone has recs feel free to pass them on!
